Spokesperson for the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) remains Martin Buese. 5/03; TUI China in Beijing, a joint venture between TUI AG, China Travel Service and Martin Buese, is scheduled to start up in June. 5/03; TUI Deutschland GmbH now holds 50.1% of the shares of Kiel long-haul tour operator Gebeco. Gebeco founder Martin Buese left the company to become GM of CTS. 12/02; TUI AG will be the first European tourism group to establish itself in China. An agreement was signed November 13 at the tourism fair in Shanghai on setting up a joint venture company involving TUI AG, China Travel Service (CTS) and the third shareholder Martin Buese. Herbert Ebertz: Accor has signed a binding pre-agreement with Dr. Herbert Ebertz, the primary shareholder of German hotel-industry leader Dorint AG. Under the terms of the agreement, and following a capital increase approved by Dorint AG shareholders at a Shareholders’ Meeting on August 16, in Hamburg, Accor will hold a 26% interest in the German group. 9/02
